About us

We are a family-run mobile coffee business who are all about connecting with local community over a delicious cup of coffee! 

Generally from a Wednesday through to Sunday, you will find us located at the Trough Carpark, Seaford.

We love seeing our locals, walkers, surfers, cyclists and families pop by or hang out, enjoying the coffee and chatting with mates. On weekends my two young daughters assist in serving our customers, learning the family trade and making a buck of course!

We offer a variety of hot and cold drinks, baked goods and hot food, with many GF/DF/vegan options available as detailed below.

At The Coffee Trough we are all about supporting local! We use beans roasted by the award-winning Patio Coffee Roasters and fresh milk by Fleurieu Milk Co. We stock Bonsoy, Milklab and The Alternative Dairy Milk Co. milks, and use local bakeries and suppliers.

We believe in investing in the next generation which is why we only use fully compostable coffee cups and lids... (YES! You can chuck them in the green bin).

Menu

Hot drinks

From a simple cappuccino, to a decaf almond dirty chai, we pretty much will make what you ask for! Hot chocolate, chai, and various coffee flavours available.

We use beans roasted by the award-winning Patio Coffee Roasters and fresh milk by Fleurieu Milk Co. 

We also stock a variety of alternative milks from Bonsoy, Milklab and The Alternative Dairy Milk Co.

Cold drinks

We can make you an iced latte with freshly pulled shots, or maybe an iced chocolate or iced chai tickles your fancy. 

We stock plenty of milkshake flavours for the kids, and now stock the popular refreshing Green Detox smoothies.  

Mountain Fresh juices are available in a variety of flavours.

Sweet & savoury

We use local bakeries and suppliers with an assortment of dairy-free, gluten-free and vegan options available. 

We stock:

  • Raw vegan DF/GF slices

  • GF muffins

  • Roast vegetable tarts

  • Bacon, egg & cheese rolls (GF option)

  • Ham, cheese & tomato croissants

Plus many other options.

Events

We love special events! If you would like to have us serving at your next event we’d love to hear from you. 

As community-loving folk we adore being a part of school sports days, birthday parties, weddings, family fun days and sporting club events. 

For private paid events we request a minimum of 2 hours.
